Omar has been busy recently promoting its activities throughout CRR and is now involved in many aspects in Banjul.

African Union adopted the African Youth Charter in Banjul, Gambia July 2006. Banjul+10 will reflect on progress made on the implementation of the charter.
Almost 400 youth, government ministers, officials from the African Union Commission and the United Nations have already gathered at the Paradise Suites Hotel for #AUBanjulPlus10, and have been attending the pre-forum events.
The first day featured a series of side events hosted by various organisations on a range of themes related to the Charter and youth development on the continent.
The second day of activities saw more side events on youth employment and entrepreneurship, youth leadership and political participation, volunteer action, harnessing the demographic dividend, as well as consultations to strengthen youth civic engagement to advance the gender agenda. Youth from across the continent and the diaspora are actively engaged inthe discussions to determine the way forward to ensure the realisation of the targets for Africa 2063.
