Will you be in the first 500 to visit Gambia’s Good Market this Saturday November 3rd starting at 10am? If so you will receive a 1kg bag of rice!

Sponsored by Bel Aqua Purified Water, at the October market they donated a 50kg bag for a raffle but this month you can all benefit if you are early enough!!!!

Gambia's Good Market is the first of its kind in the country showcasing local products by entrepreneurs of all ages but with a particular emphasis on youths enabling them to access income earning opportunities.

All potential vendors are interviewed to see that they reach the required standard both in product and packaging and you will spot some innovative packing as you browse the stalls. Single use plastic and plastic in general is actively discouraged. The end product must have been made in The Gambia and wherever possible, sourced in the country too.

Gambia's Good Market and AssertBusiness Centre - Gambia are extremely grateful to Gambia National Petroleum Corporation for allowing the market to be held on the land outside Petroleum House



The market is proving so popular that there is a waiting list of vendors. You will find a wide range of products providing natural health and beauty; arts and crafts, fashion accessories, agro products and more.
This November you can see nearly forty different vendors-

Youth Empowerment Project's invitation to young participants for October

It is an initiative set up by Assert in partnership with YEP
The first market of the 2018/19 season on October 6th was vibrant with many new vendors, Opened officially by Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Tourism, Mr Satay Jawo. Our well known Dave Adams, as Chair of Assert also spoke.



These impressive T Shirts are produced by VAG girls initiative to advocate against girls violence.
VAG is a youth led organization with the aim to end Violence Against Girls.
They do this through training youths on batik work and also challenging them to produce beautiful batiks. Contact 7749277 for more information
